14" Light Grey Tint

I purchased a new recurve Road Glide windshield from Freedom Shields last week and it arrived yesterday. It is their 14″ in Light Grey. This is replacing the stock 15″ shield. I wanted one close to the height of the stock shield since I can look over that one and it gives me the wind protection I want. Prior to this I had a 16″ Klock Works, but I did not like it as the edge of the shield fell into my sight line so I had to sit as straight as possible to see over it. The Freedom shield is a very well made shield that has no distortions or imperfections and it comes with a bottom trim piece and well nuts attached. Fit was spot on and very easy to mount. The ride is great with the wind pushed up to the top of my helmet with no buffeting. I do like how well I can see around with the lower sheild and I am very pleased with the product as well as the way I was treated by John. They also offer to take back the shield as long as you do not remove the protective film. I mounted it with the film on and took it for a ride. Once I was satisfied with the performance I removed the film. The film is cut so you do not have to remove the shield to remove the film.

I sell Harleys for a living…

14" Dark Grey Tint

I love my new Freedom Shield! I sell Harleys for a living and I have rode behind most after market screens and Freedom Shield is the best! Other screens are thin and of poor materials. My last screen would flap wildly at speed and scratched easily. I can hear my radio better and smoke a cigarette at 80 ! If you own a Harley Road Glide do your self a favor and get one of these shields!

The road glide windshield works great!

Hey John, The road glide windshield works great . It was worth the wait. The performance of your shield is even better than I had hoped for. I put the original rain-x on it and it works just like I had hoped. I’ll try to get you some pics after thanksgiving. Very happy!!!

10" Light Grey Tint

Got my 10´´, light grey tinted Freedom Shield delivered to Austria-Europe without any problem. Packing was very good, installation easy. Very impressive was the first ride which I did on a highway. Thought there was something wrong with my bike because everything was so quiet, then I realized I was already going 150 km/h but there was almost no buffeting. Before I had a lot of buffeting at a big range of speed. After testing 700 km, for me the shield is much better then the original one. I would buy again and can only recommend!

I was amazed at the clarity, thickness, strength and quality of this shield!

I peeled off the plastic and was amazed at the clarity, thickness, strength and quality of this shield. I am keeping it and am VERY impressed. Thanks so much. As much as I hate to do it, I may ditch my new Long Ride Shield for one of yours on my other motor. Very impressive! I’ve had 4 different windshield manufacturers installed on my Harley dressers over the last several years (including Harley’s own stock shield). Your product is way ahead of the others in terms of quality and value for the price. For allowing me to really examine your product. You have taken great pains to insure that what you send out is top notch. I am sold and will not likely install anything other than a Freedom Shield on my personal motorcycle in the future.

The Freedom shield delivered.

Yes, I have installed my shield on my 2010 Electric Glide Ultra. I am very pleased. The shield arrived promptly and was packed very securely. I really appreciated the opportunity to try it out before removing the protective film. Great idea and rarely seen. As for the performance of the windshield. It works as promised. The stock shield was too tall and I was caught between looking through it or right at the top edge. I prefer to look over my shield, but still have enough protection to avoid helmet buffeting. The Freedom shield delivered.
