Love it love it

Love my new shield love it love it. The original cut into my view and I didn’t realize how bad it was till I just took it off. This one throws the wind up and I can see everything in front of me. Thank you so much for being part of my road trip build.

What a pleasure it is to ride on windy days now.

I just wanted to give you more feedback on the windshield now that I have put a few hundred miles on the bike since installing it. It has been windy here, 20 to 30 mph gusting over 40 and the bike handles so much better with this windshield. The front end used to vibrate in strong wind and the wind noise in my ears was deafening. I wear a short carbon fiber helmet. With the Freedom Shields recurve windshield there is no front-end vibration and no wind noise! What a pleasure it is to ride on windy days now. My gas mileage increased by 3 mpg due to less wind resistance. Thank you again for a truly great product!

Wow!  What a huge difference.

I received my new Freedom Shield, 23″, medium-tinted, windshield today. I immediately installed it on my 2016 Harley FLSTC and took it for a short 30-mile ride.  Wow!  What a huge difference over the clear, 20″, after-market, windshield I’ve had on my bike for the past two years. The extra 3″ in height and re-curved top virtually eliminates all of the wind that spills over the top of the windshield and the 15% medium-tinting is awesome for significantly reducing the sun and glare that I previously had to contend with on my clear windshield.

I have to say very excellent product.

I got my shield a couple of weeks ago for my 2019 Heritage classic. I have to say very excellent product. It fit with no issues on the Harley hardware. I only had to take it on one test ride to know that was the right one. Of course, taking all the measurements helps but love the fit and finish. Rode it in the rain the following weekend and you can see how it moved the air around me. Outstanding product. Thank you. I wish you made them for metric bikes I would love to replace the one on my wife’s Vulcan. Keep up the great work

Worth every penny

Wanted to let you guys know what a superior product you sell. Quality was exceptional. A superb product, even better than the factory option. To the guys out there wondering about size, this is the 17” medium grey tint, painted lower, with flag engraved. I’m 5’10” and the flip up at the top of the windshield directs the air above my helmet and still enables me to look “over” the screen. Worth every penny….thanks!

I could probably lite a cigarette behind this thing if I still smoked them.

Review #1: I want to tell you this is the best windshield I have ever ridden behind. It is also the perfect height and if it was not for speaking with you via a phone call, I might have gone with the next size down. If I just stretch my neck a little, I can see over the top. So, needless to say I have protection from the wind that is the next best thing to a car but, better yet, I’m on a motorcycle! Yeah, we like the wind in our face but, I bought this bike for long rage weekend rides. So of course, I don’t want to get rattled for hours. The first ride I took on it the temp was 50 degrees, and I was warm with a leather duster. At 65mph for 20 miles, and no sunglasses, I had no eye watering and realized I hadn’t lowered the shield on my helmet. There was no need to, so I just put on eye protection; I’m not sure I even needed them. I also noticed the extra thickness gave no movement at just over 80mph—none at all.  I feel the safety I wanted for long rides.  Thanks. I also really like the light tint you recommended via most popular. Clear has a glare. The light tint is also safer for night rides. I would always recommend a light tint minimum, and I will always recommend Freedom Shields.  An installation note I want to mention; the Harley tape is thinner. The windshield brace bolts, that go through just the brace and windshield, needed a small stainless washer.  I even had room for a lock washer. (recall two bolts go through both, braces, and wind shield and they have acorn nuts—limited threads). I still used the blue Loctite. That is the only heads up to give to you.

Review #2: I just rode from Medford Oregon to Chico CA. It’s about a 4 hour ride.  I couldn’t be happier with this windshield. I put my hand up over my head and raised it while riding about 70mph. I found it is about 4-5” above my head before I feel any wind. I could probably lite a cigarette behind this thing if I still smoked them. Additionally, I felt the bike smooth out from 90-100mph; I was a little surprised at that but then again, I do have an air foil in front of me. There was no wind chatter at all. I have the 23”, light grey, and I am 5’11”. I can see over the shield just fine. In fact, when I raise my head a little, I can see over it and still do not feel wind.

I am very happy to let you know that it did in fact fit perfectly as you had mentioned to me.

Just wanted to thank you for returning my call about the 2021 Heritage Classic Windshield fitment with respect to what looked like a different overlap size. I am very happy to let you know that it did in fact fit perfectly as you had mentioned to me. Our local dealer which is excellent did in fact put it together for me on the original brackets. My bike kind of looks like a shade of purple due to the lighting in the garage but it is in fact the 2021 color called Black Jack Metalic which does in fact look a lot more black in real life. Thank you again. Your help was greatly appreciated.
